My name is Ashley Grundmayer! I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Nebraska. I was born and raised here in Lincoln, NE and completed my undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have been working as a therapist in the Lincoln community since 2014 and have experience with a variety of concerns including: anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, identity concerns, trauma, borderline personality disorder, substance use problems, and life transitions – all with a focus on building healthy coping skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and improve mindfulness and interpersonal relationships.
I am experienced in the use of DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and interpersonal process interventions to help individuals manage symptoms and learn new ways of coping and interacting to improve stability in their lives. I value a collaborative and strength-based approach to mental health care and ultimately hold the belief that radical growth and change is possible!
I recognize that seeking therapy can be a very challenging and personal decision, so I will work with you to prioritize your needs and establish personalized goals for therapy. Please reach out if you have any questions. I would love to meet you!
